GTA V announced

As you might have heard already, GTA V has been announced, and we have the trailer for you!

It has been confirmed that the game will be situated in San Andreas. The latest rumors are that this game would be more than 2 times bigger than Red Dead Redemption. If so, Rockstar is really going to push the current console generation to it’s limits. That is, if GTA 5 will launch for the current gen consoles at all. It might happen that it launches for their successors. The only thing you can really depend on is that it will launch on PC.

So what do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Don’t care? …

How DLC should be announced: Dynasty Warriors 7

The European community manager decided to reaffirm the European launch date of the 3rd DLC pack for Dynasty Warriors 7. And he has a secret weapon to do so.

We don’t want to be sexist in any way but this is a really good way to attract attention for your DLC. It draws the attention right to what you want people to read! So I don’t think we have to write here when the DLC of Dynasty Warriors 7 will be released right? But were you interested in the DLC anyway?

PS3 version of Limbo get’s a little extra

And what might that extra be?

Spoiler: You can get an extra trophy on the PS3 version of the game called “DING! (Gold, Hidden) – Running off will get you nowhere.” You get this achievement if you enter the secret extra area in Limbo. To do this you must collect all game “eggs” however. And to do that you’ll have to spend quite some time probably searching for these hidden eggs. So you get something extra on PS3 if you’re willing to invest some time in this great game. So who wouldn’t we wonder?

The video above shows you the real “ingame” footage of the game? Excited? If so, it won’t be for the great gameplay we guess! This game is all about showing off. Not about showing off great fighting skills but about showing off your spanking skills. We guess the game will be just fine if you don’t mind playing games solely for the nice looking ladies. If you’re looking for a serious fighting game however, we think you should consider Street Fighter, Tekken or Soul Calibur instead. But anyway, enjoy the show! Oh and by the way: it’s only available on PC of course.

Are Microsoft and Sony up to something… together?

Wouldn’t it be great if Microsoft and Sony joined forces to build the ultimate console for hardcore gamers? The best hardware combined with the best online network on one console? Would be sweet right? But before you get excited we have to inform you that this news turned out to be false. Eurogamer said: According to a Tweet from Microsoft corporate communications VP Frank Shaw the listing is just an innocuous “defensive domain name hold”.

So no, there will not be a Xbox Station or a Playstation 720 at hand. It would be a cool idea though because for 90% the libaries of both parties are the same. Would you buy a console built by Sony and Microsoft together?

Short: GTA V turns up at Gamestation

For a short time period, it was possible to pre-order Grand Theft Auto 5 at Gamestation. Could this mean the release of the unannounced GTA V is near?

Also keep in mind that there are some rumours that GTA V could launch on January 15th 2012. So this enforces these rumours in fact. Could it be true? We sure hope so! For more information click here.

Unboxing Catherine “Love is Over” deluxe edition

We just wrote about Catherines review here. But let’s check out the weird “Love is Over” deluxe edition you can buy. It will be worth your while.

The deluxe edition contains:

A pair of polka dot boxers — the same worn by Vincent in his nightmares

IGN amazed by quality of Catherine

IGN reviewed Catherine, and was really impressed. Find out why.

After spending lots of time with the sordid tale of Catherine and putting down my controller to reflect on the experience, I felt refreshed. For all of the old, tired ideas that plague our industry, it was really nice to play something authentically different. And I mean really different, because Catherine is in no way, shape or form like anything you’ve ever played. But what’s even more exciting about Catherine is that it’s one hell of a game, too, and is wildly successful in most of what it attempts to do. – IGN

It seems that you know what to buy now if you’re looking for an original game on PS3 or Xbox 360! The PS3 version got a 9/10 rating. A Xbox 360 rating was not yet available at the time we wrote this. The game was published and developed by Atlus and is of the adventure genre. So if you need to spend some money on games, you now know at least one game worth your bucks.
